Wat Arun

Locally known as Wat Chaeng, is situated on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. It is easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location, but also because the design is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.


The best time to visit this temple is when the sun begins, the sun's compilation illuminates Wat Arun. Besides seeing the temple, you can also use Indonesian there.


To be able to enter the temple area and take a picture there, tourists must pay a ticket of 50 Baht or around Rp. 22,000. You can also visit this temple every day, starting at 8:00 until 18:00 local time.


There is some rules if you want to come to the temple, for girl they are should wearing pants under their knee and should cover their shoulder and for boys they can wearing pants overknee. If they don’t wearing clothes according to the regulations they can rent traditional cloth there
